Aquafan is rightly considered the number 1 water park in Europe.
Founded in 1987 on the Riccione hills, it took 90 km of tubing
and 500 km of electric cables to construct, and in a matter
of a few years, the 80 thousand m2 of slides, games, and attractions
of 1987 became 150 thousand... But numbers alone are not enough
to explain the success of Aquafan, which today is still a
favourite with those who, young or not, wish to experience
more than a simple water park. Over the years, Aquafan has
expanded and added attractions and appeal so much to become
the place where new fashions and trends are set, like a large
"observatory and laboratory" of fashion language
and trends. A phenomenon that is also due to the park's collaboration
with Radio DJ and other partners. Aquafan is a journey of
pleasure that offers its visitors real excitement, thanks
to its waterslides (with an overall length of more than 3
km), water games, the beautiful greenery of its gardens, events,
various initiatives, entertainment and much more besides.
Visitors to Aquafan are mostly young people although, thanks
to 3 children areas, the number of families is also increasing.
